Job Summary:
Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. They will lead a team of production supervisors, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven record of accomplishment in improving productivity and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department
Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and group leads
Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and production goals
Monitor production processes and adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and quality
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing management
Prepare and present reports on production performance and initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing management
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems
Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to analyze data and use it to drive performance improvements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
Knowledge of electrical control panel manufacturing is preferred
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
