Position Title: Manufacturing Operator (2nd Shift)

Position Location: Uxbridge, MA

Position Type/Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 1:00am

Positions Available: 2

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00/hour 

(Compensation depends on skills, knowledge, education, and experience)  

Position Snapshot: The Manufacturing Operator performs assembly and material-handling activities, operates basic production tools, and supports workflow to meet daily production, quality, and safety requirements. This role follows prints, work instructions, BOMs, and standard work; performs in-process inspection; completes required documentation; supports changeovers; and communicates issues to maintain efficient, safe, and on-time production.

About you: You’re a hands-on builder who takes pride in doing things the right way, safely, accurately, and consistently. You enjoy working in a production environment, following work instructions, using tools, and keeping materials and processes moving to meet quality and daily production goals. 

A day in the life: 

• Perform basic assembly and material-handling tasks per standard work.
• Operate hand tools, carts, and basic production aids.
• Follow prints, work instructions, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Perform in-process inspections and identify/communicate nonconformances.
• Complete required production documentation (logs, labels, counts, etc.).
• Support changeovers and line readiness activities.
• Follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; wear required PPE.
• Maintain 5S and a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support daily goals. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What you will need: 

• 0-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Attention to detail, quality, and communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 
• Willingness to follow safety, quality, and ESD requirements; ability to wear required PPE.
