About the role

Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavorings and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savoury and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.

Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential: $27 an hr/ 2nd shift .50 cents shift differential

Shift/Working Hours: 2nd shift/ 2:15pm-10:30pm/ M-F

Key responsibilities

1. Follow procedures for system start-up, operation, shutdown, cleaning, and batching.


2. Mixing chemical and food batches, monitoring and sampling in accordance with SOPs & recording process and production data.


3. Troubleshooting dryer processes (work closely with Supervisors and Maintenance in troubleshooting problems), assisting with routine maintenance and maintaining the dryer up in a clean work environment.


4. Overseeing cleanup of entire dryer system between products, Responsible for making sure blends are placed into the blending tanks correctly, utilizing process control sheets. This includes weighing up of any minor ingredients, double checking item numbers, batch quantities, and lot numbers.


5. Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and all filling instructions are followed for each order. Must be able to operate pumps, mixers, filters in a safe and efficient manner.


6. Responsible for checking brix and acid on the blend and adjust it accordingly to be within the customer specifications.


7. Complete Master Sanitation Sheet and assisting on cleaning when needed.

Qualifications and skills

1. Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment.


2. Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., push up to a 450 lb. metal drum on a roller conveyor, and stand for prolonged periods.


3. Read, write, speak the English language.


4. Follow Proper housekeeping and sanitary GMP procedures to prevent product contamination; use clean tools and utensils and properly stored or hung to prevent product contamination.


5. Experience using a Manufacturing Execution System is a plus. (SAP) & be able to -Return material with necessary SSCC labels.


6. Must be able to operate a computer and feel comfortable using two different HMI systems for operation (SAP and Wonder ware)


7. Communication skills is a plus (Be able to report metrics on the shift exchange)


8. Be able to work mandatory overtime over the weekend


9. Other duties as required

Compensation Data
