Manufacturing Operator for 2nd shift 4p-2a

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:











.
Follow work instructions and dimensional visual quality requirements.





.
Inspect, assemble parts & pack product using assorted tools, while working at a required pace.





.
Complete all written portions of required paperwork.







.
Understand and use the Mack Molding Quality Management System.





.
Maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping in all areas.







.
Follow safety rules & regulations.










.
Work in different areas or departments depending on business needs and any other duties 






as assigned by the supervisor.











.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with strong teamwork and cooperation

Job Qualifications:











.
High School Diploma, GED, High School Equivalency Certificate, Vocational/Technical Training, Professional Certifications, Military Service, Skills Based Requirements or Relevant Work Experience





.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, ability to pass a drug screen, background check and post offer physical.



.
Must be able to see, read and follow instructions/procedures/policies; such as safety rules, operating and





maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.







.
Must be able to understand and compute basic math problems.



















Working Conditions:











.
Exposure to dust from sanding & grinding operations.







.
Exposure at times to materials containing fiberglass.







.
Ability to wear earplugs and safety glasses while in the production areas.





.
Plant odors from plastic, paint & adhesive processing.







.
Exposure in-plant to temperatures between 40F and exceeding 100F.

















Physical Requirements:











.
Use of assorted hand tools including but not limited to exacto knives, hand cutters, air hammers, 






compressed air and orbital sanders for an extended period of time in a repetitive motion.  Some tools cause





vibration during use.











.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required [when necessary on certain jobs].





.
Ability to bend, squat, lift, pull, grip, reach, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and 






in a repetitive motion.











.
Be able to move freely using shoulders, arms and back to twist, lift, pull or reach while carrying product.





.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule.









.
Be able to work at a table or reach into boxes up to 42" high.
