Job Description

The Manufacturing Plant Manager will oversee the development and operations of a new 16-acre facility in Farmington, New Mexico. In this role, the manager will lead a newly formed team to ensure performance, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of the new facility and oversee hiring and training of a workforce of 10–20 employees.
• Develop and maintain specifications, procedures, and quality standards for the plastic lining of steel pipe.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for materials and technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and client teams to ensure products meet performance and project requirements.
• Oversee technicians and provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Drive innovation in pipeline products and remain current with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical experience in materials and manufacturing

• 10+ years of experience in a related engineering field.
• Facility management experience.
• Knowledge of plastic and pipe materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills

Salary

$90,000 – $150,000 per year, based on experience.

Farmington, NM — Reporting to United Pipeline Systems’ headquarters in Durango, CO
