As the Manufacturing Project Manager, you will plan and control project execution for machine tool accessory work from internal handoff through final delivery. Your focus is to keep timelines predictable, protect customer satisfaction, and ensure each build meets quality and documentation expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and update schedules and lead-times based on manpower capacity and current workload
- Coordinate material readiness and maintain the inventory required to complete projects
- Verify quality deliverables and confirm documentation is accurate, complete, and released on time
- Enforce company safety guidelines and address nonconformances promptly
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally
- Provide timely technical support to teammates by answering project and product inquiries
- Monitor and manage project-related expenses when required to support profitability
- Partner closely with customers and collaborate across Sales, Engineering, and Production
Required knowledge and skills:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1–2 years of applicable experience in the machine tool related industry
- Industry-specific certifications preferred
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems used in the machine tool industry or factory automation
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to coordinate with multiple departments
