Manufacturing Robot / CNC Operator Programmer

Position Summary

This position is responsible for operating and programming the Robot / CNC machine. The position requires strong computer skills and the ability to learn to use the applicable programs for the machine. Some mechanical skill is required for maintaining the equipment and making routine changes to cutters, markers, etc. Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.

Requirements

The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty:

• Experience working on a Robot and/or CNC machine is required;
• Experience with CNC programming, preferably with Maestro;
• Working knowledge of safe wood working techniques and tooling;
• Tools include: saw, sander, router, grinder and battery power drills;
• Good verbal communication skills;
• Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities;
• Able to sit, stand, reach and carry as needed for a full shift (8 or 10 hours shifts);
• Must be able to lift, carry up to a maximum of 50 lbs;
• Must be self-motivated and have a positive, solution-seeking attitude;
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Able to commit to a consistent work schedule with good attendance;
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

CNC Operator $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

CNC Operator and Programmer - $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

This is a Monday to Friday position. The hours are expected to be 6:00AM to 2:30PM.
