Manufacturing Shipping Utility

Essential Job Functions:

• Package brick products according to established production, quality, and safety requirements.
• Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Packager, including preparing, handling, stacking, wrapping, labeling, and otherwise preparing finished products for shipment.
• Cross-train and provide coverage as a Pack Tech when needed.
• Cross-train and provide coverage as a Shipping Hilo Operator when needed.
• Assist with other Shipping and manufacturing activities as assigned.
• Safely operate equipment and machinery associated with assigned duties after completing required training.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Perform quality checks and report product or packaging issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and established procedures.
• Work cooperatively with other employees and departments to support daily operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned based on business and operational needs.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to safely learn and perform multiple job functions.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate material-handling equipment, including a Hilo/forklift, as required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

• Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and operational needs.

  Work Environment

• This position works in a manufacturing and shipping environment and may be exposed to dust, noise, moving equipment, varying temperatures, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.
