Position Available: Manufacturing Support

Looking for first and second shift employees.

What You’ll Do

As a Manufacturing Support team member at AMPG, you'll help keep daily production running safely and efficiently across the shop.

Keep Materials Moving: Use an RF scanner to identify and move raw material, load bars into machines, point bars, and move finished parts to the appropriate stations.

Support Shipping and Inventory: Unload material from delivery trucks and receive it into inventory.

Prepare Finished Parts: Wash, weigh, and re-box completed parts so they are ready for the next step.

Maintain the Shop: Handle metal scrap, clean oil spills, load machines with oil, and remove chips and oil from machines.

Tend Equipment: Assist with the black oxide finishing line and other shop equipment.

Pitch In Where Needed: Provide overall shop assistance and help the team respond to changing production needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Self-Starter: You are self-motivated and ready to take ownership of your work.

Flexible Team Member: You can take direction and multi-task in a dynamic work environment.

Able to Handle the Work: Raw material averages about 15 pounds per bar, with the heaviest bars around 70 pounds. Team lifts may be used for loads up to 120 pounds.
