Manufacturing Team Leader Paint & Blast (INTERNAL JOB POSTING)

Reports To: Supervisor
Classification: Non-Exempt (Working Lead)

Summary

R-Tech is seeking internal candidates for a Manufacturing Team Leader role in Paint & Blast. This role provides hands-on leadership within finishing operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Paint & Blast workflow and priorities

• Monitor paint quality, surface preparation, and rework

• Ensure safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed

• Support training and development of Paint & Blast team members

• Communicate production or quality concerns to the Supervisor

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required

• Technical training or demonstrated experience in industrial paint and/or blast operations preferred

• Combination of education and experience will be considered

Minimum Qualifications

• Current R-Tech employee in good standing

• Demonstrated reliability and acceptable attendance

• Experience in Paint and/or Blast operations

• Ability to communicate expectations clearly and professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of paint quality, surface preparation, and finishing standards

• Experience mentoring or training other employees

• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision

Additional Expectations

• Maintain accountability and professionalism on the shop floor

• May be required to support day or night shift coverage as needed
