Manufacturing Technician

Description

The Manufacturing Technician for Manchac Technologies overall purpose is to build and assemble the internal units of the DOSIS machine.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical assemblies per work instructions.
• Read and comprehend drawings.
• Use and understand the use of special test equipment such as calipers, torque wrenches.
• Follow special instructions and document all quality check sheets.
• Test end product and troubleshoot and repair as necessary.
• Follow instructions and meet objectives, with little or no direct supervision.
• Travel overnight as needed to deliver, install or conduct repairs to equipment.
• Follow all company rules and instructions.
• Capture time and materials on work orders accurately.
• Shipping & Receiving duties
• Assemble and repair canisters for use in DOSIS machines.

 Note:

Position is contingent upon successfully passing background screen and pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements

 Education, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of MS Office skills
• Mechanical/Electrical skills required
• Knowledge of hand tools required
• Inventory experience
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred
• Automation/Robotics background helpful
