Manufacturing Technician

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment & processes used in the projection of medical device and consumer product finished goods
  
• Prepare machines for a production cycle, including calibration, cleaning and other activities
  
• Supply raw material or parts to semi -automated machines
  
• Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift
  
• Verify output to detect any machine related mistakes or flaws
  
• Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final projects as needed
  
• Create and maintain activity logs and necessary paperwork/documentation as needed
  
• Responsible for delivering all Product Quality Requirements 
  
• Responsible for performing cleanings, inspections and lubrication of assigned machines
  
• Meet or exceed Business Performance Targets for Production, Process Reliability
  
  

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred
  
• Working experience of Loss Elimination Methodologies preferred (TPM, Lean Manufaturing, 5S, OEE etc)
  
• Strong communication and analytical skills, able to problem solve creatively
  
• Able to work in a warehouse/manufacture setting
  
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time
