Manufacturing Technician

• The Line Operator will be responsible for the flow of production through the tube -making machines.
  
• Responsible for the Safety, Quality, and Production within the area of ownership of the manufacturing process
  
• Responsible for delivering all Product Quality Requirements for Class 1 Medical Devices
  
• Meet or exceed Business Performance Targets for Production, Process Reliability, and Scrap
  
• Maintain a Lean Manufacturing culture to avoid downtime and scrap loss
  
• Maintain a quality -focused culture in a manufacturing environment
  
• Completion and adherence to all Quality SOP's and GMP's
  
• Knowledge of startup and shutdown of the equipment
  
• Responsible for assisting the Line Lead when called upon
  
• Other duties as deemed necessary
  

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred
  
• Assembly line experience preferred
  
• Operate in compliance with all Safe Practices & SOP
  
• Employee regularly works in a warehouse/manufacture setting
  
• Working experience of Loss Elimination Methodologies preferred (TPM, Lean manufacturing, 5D, OEE, etc.) preferred
  
• Collaboration skills -must be able to work effectively in a highly diverse, global, multi -functional environment
  
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time
  
• Strong communication skills preferred
