Be Professional: We conduct ourselves with the highest standards of competence, responsibility, and respect in all interactions and tasks. Our customers look to us for the best training and equipment. We are the example for them.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Technician you'll help build the next generation of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that support critical defense missions around the world.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in advanced manufacturing. You'll work alongside experienced technicians while developing hands-on skills in electronics assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical integration. Success in this role comes from attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and pride in producing high-quality work.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble drone components, harnesses, connectors, and subassemblies under the guidance of experienced technicians.

  • Perform basic soldering, wiring, cable assembly, and mechanical assembly using hand tools.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards with precision.

  • Complete in-process inspections and prepare assemblies for Quality Control review.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace using 5S principles.

  • Identify and report quality concerns, non-conformances, or safety issues to the Cell Lead or Supervisor.

  • Support production goals while maintaining exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.

  • Continuously develop technical skills and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or a similar production environment is preferred-or a strong willingness to learn.

  • Ability to perform basic soldering and build cable assemblies; IPC certification is a plus.

  • Ability to perform mechanical assembly using common hand tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Ability to accurately follow written work instructions and assembly procedures.

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

  • Desire to learn new skills and grow within a technical manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with drones, UAVs, or UAS platforms.

  • IPC soldering certification.

  • Experience with PCB assembly, cable harness fabrication, or electronics manufacturing.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills required for detailed assembly work.

  • Visual acuity sufficient to inspect and assemble small components.

  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial conditions.
