As a Manufacturing Technician Assistant at CSC, your main responsibilities will include assisting with the production of corrugated sheets, working in a team to ensure that all production, shipping, and maintenance processes are completed efficiently and effectively, and learning the various stages of the manufacturing process.


Your specific duties may include:



  • Assisting with the set-up and operation of equipment used in the manufacturing process.

  • Monitoring and adjusting machines to ensure that they are running smoothly and producing high quality products.

  • Conducting quality control checks on finished products to ensure that they meet the required standard.

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and keeping work areas clean and organized.

  • Learning about the different states of the manufacturing process and how they contribute to the final product.

  • Collaborating with a team to identify areas of improvement and implementing solutions to address them.

  • Participating in training sessions to learn about equipment, techniques, and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications & Education Requirements



  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Strong work ethic and be willing to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work well on a team.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately and efficiently.


Language Skills



  • Working understanding of written and spoken English


Mathematical Skills



  • Must be able to read & use a non-metric measuring tape

  • Must be able to count & perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division)

  • Ability to use hand tools, perform rigging, and handle materials

  • Ability stand and walk for prolonged periods and maintain balance on narrow walkways

  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks

  • Ability to reach vertically and horizontally with hands and arms

  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance

  • Possess required visual abilities close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

  • Possess OSHA required auditory abilities

  • Workspace is not climate controlled and can reach both hot and cold extremes
