Manufacturing Tooling Engineer - Dynamic Team

Summary: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science Field with 2 Years of Tooling & Equipment Experience And/Or Associates Degree in Mechanical Design / Engineering Field with 4 Years of Tooling & Equipment Experience required for this role focusing on torque tooling integration and advancement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science Field with 2 years of tooling & equipment experience OR Associates Degree in Mechanical Design / Engineering Field with 4 years of tooling & equipment experience.
• Specific torque tooling experience is a must.
• Proficiency in Creo.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in evaluating tooling requirements and developing RFQ’s.
• Ability to manage end-to-end torque tooling projects with tooling vendors.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with tooling vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in testing and validating selected tooling solutions through modeling or in prototype/production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Support integration of new torque tooling and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate tooling requirements and develop RFQ’s.
• Manage end-to-end torque tooling projects with tooling vendors.
• Communicate with tooling vendors to ensure the best tooling solution(s) for the application.
• Initiate internal reviews of proposed tooling solutions with key stakeholders.
• Test and validate selected tooling solutions through modeling and/or in prototype or production environments.
• Implement advanced manufacturing solutions to support operational needs.

Pay Details: $31.00 to $46.00 per hour
