Job Description - Manufacturing Training Coordinator

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Training Coordinator. This role will take place out of our growing facility in Hodges, SC. \n\nThe Manufacturing Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and tracking training programs that ensure manufacturing employees are skilled, compliant, and productive. This role partners closely with operations, quality, safety, and HR to support onboarding, continuous improvement, and workforce development initiatives. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nTraining Coordination \u0026 Delivery\n\n * Coordinate and administer training programs for manufacturing employees, including onboarding, job skills, safety, quality, and compliance training.\n * Schedule training sessions and ensure appropriate coverage for production needs.\n * Deliver or facilitate training using classroom, hands\u2011on, and on\u2011the\u2011job instructional methods.\n * Maintain training materials, manuals, standard work instructions, and visual aids.\n\n\n\nCompliance \u0026 Documentation\n\n * Track and document training completion using training databases or LMS systems.\n * Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and company training requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, internal standards).\n * Prepare training reports, audits, and metrics for management review.\n\n\n\nContinuous Improvement \u0026 Development\n\n * Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with supervisors and managers.\n * Support cross\u2011training, skills matrices, and certification programs.\n * Assist with developing career pathways, upskilling, and re\u2011skilling initiatives.\n * Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.\n\n\n\nCollaboration \u0026 Support\n\n * Partner with supervisors, engineers, and subject matter experts to develop effective training content.\n * Support new equipment, process launches, and change management efforts.\n * Serve as a resource for employees regarding training requirements and opportunities.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\n * High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.\n * 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\n\n * 1 or more years of experience training or instructing others in a manufacturing, corporate, organizational, or professional setting.\n\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\n\n * No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Hodges, SC facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Associate\u0027s or Bachelor\u0027s degree in Training, HR, Industrial Technology, or a related field. \n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\n * Experience with LMS (learning management system) or training tracking systems.\n * Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and shop\u2011floor operations.\n * Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.\n * Experience delivering hands\u2011on or technical training in a manufacturing environment.\n * Communication \u0026 presentation skills\n * Attention to detail \u0026 documentation accuracy\n * Collaboration \u0026 teamwork\n * Adaptability \u0026 problem\u2011solving\n * Commitment to safety and quality\n * Valid US drivers license \n\n\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
