Responsabilities:\n\n-Setup new production test areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc.\n\n\u00b7 Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles\n\n\u00b7 TIG welding according to engineering models, drawings, specifications and written procedures\n\n\u00b7 Brazing according to ASME IX III\n\n\u00b7 Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customer delivery\n\n\u00b7 Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control\n\n\u00b7 Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, TIG welding machine, brazing setup, gas tanks, lines, regulators, digital and mechanical gauges, instruments etc.\n\n\u00b7 Diagnose non-functional welded assemblies independently\n\n\u00b7 Calibrate and test DPU assemblies per engineering procedure independently\n\n\u00b7 Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency\n\n\u00b7 Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean initiatives\n\n\u00b7 Learn quickly from mistakes, absorb knowledge from mentors, take ownership, cross-train others and deliver results\n\n\u00b7 Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success\n\nQualifications:\n\n\u00b7 High School diploma or GED\n\n\u00b7 D17.1 and D14.1 certifications\n\n\u00b7 Experience with mechanical assembly and gauge calibration\n\n\u00b7 3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field\n\n\u00b7 Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities\n\n\u00b7 Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures\n\n\u00b7 Basic mathematics skills\n\n\u00b7 Hand dexterity required to assemble small mechanical or electrical components\n\n\u00b7 Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.\n\n\u00b7 Strong verbal and written communication skills\n\n\u00b7 Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small restricted areas\n\n\u00b7 Ability to lift heavy items up to 44 lbs. if needed\n\n\u00b7 Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary\n\n\u00b7 Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.\n\nDesired:\n\n\u00b7 Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field\n\n\u00b7 Experienced in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment\n\n\u00b7 Bilingual (English/Spanish)\n\nSchedule\n\n\u00b7 05:00 \u2013 13:30 with overtime and weekend hours as needed\n
