What will I be doing?

As a Marina Attendant, you will assist the Marina Manager with the daily operation of the marina and recreational vehicle (RV) campground, while providing excellent service to all members, owners, and guests. You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards

Essential job functions

  • Responsible for slip, guide, and boat reservations.
  • Assists guests with checking out products from the rental fleet.
  • Performs accurate cash register transactions.
  • Provides guidance that is accurate and up-to-date regarding local lakes, sites and attractions.
  • Offers fishing advice to members, owners, and guests utilizing the marina.
  • Assists the Marina Manager with the cleanliness and preventative maintenance of the marina, campground, and rental fleet while ensuring the general resort grounds are clean.

License & certifications

  • Driver’s License (non-commercial) – must be state-specific.
  • Boating Safety ID, as required by law.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency, make and count back change.
