Job Description - Marine Cabinet Maker/Finish Carpenter-Woodshop

MARINE CABINET MAKER/FINISH CARPENTER-WOODSHOP

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for performing advanced carpentry and woodworking tasks to support sportfishing boat construction and production operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of two years of experience in cabinetry, finish carpentry, woodworking, or a related skilled trade.

Experience in marine woodworking, cabinetry repair, and interior joinery is highly beneficial.

Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate measurement, cutting, fitting, and installation.

Strong knowledge of marine plywood, hardwoods, veneers, and proper material selection and application.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Fabricating, assembling, and installing high-quality cabinetry, doors, frameworks, fixtures, and other wooden components.

Using woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools.

Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, inspect completed work for quality.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe workplace.
