Marine Chief Engineer

Perform duties as outlined by the vessel Station Bill. · Train, coordinate and supervise engine room team members. · Coordinate all repairs and preventive maintenance aboard the vessel. · Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention. · Ensure all emergency systems onboard the vessel are operational at all times.

· Must be at least 21 years of age. · Must have Chief Engineer Limited (NC) 2000HP or higher USCG license. · Five (5) years experience in a similar position preferred. · Have a complete working knowledge of diesel engines and controls, Gen sets and controls, HVAC and controls, Hydraulic systems, piping and steel fitting, welding, brazing, sweating, soldering, pump operation and repair, shipboard electrical systems, basic electronics and pneumatic systems. · Good leadership and communications skills are essential. · Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
