The Hinckley Company, known for building and servicing strong, seaworthy and beautiful yachts, is seeking a Detailer for our boat yard in Stuart Florida.

Essential Duties:

• Cleans and details boats
• Vacuum interior to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner; pump bilge.
• Using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices treats areas to remove dust, dirt, grease, and grime.
• Understanding of various cleaning agents for use on specific boat parts.
• Perform fall inventory and clean boats prior to winter storage.
• Installs and dismantles Bimini, dodger, cushions, curtains
• Set up boat for summer delivery and packs for summer storage.
• Reports problems to other departments for repair.
• May have heavy contact with customers, requiring diplomacy and pleasant attitude.
• Understands and performs all work to Hinckley quality standards.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Equivalency (GED) required.
• 2-3 years boat or car detailing experience preferred. 
• Marine or automotive industry experience preferred.
