We want a career oriented, self-starter with high energy willing to work hard and have fun in our dynamical and growing organization. We will provide you with the tools to succeed. When not busy fixing boats, this person will be assisting some of our RV Technicians, who do a little bit of everything: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. If you can do any one of these, we’ll teach you the rest! You don’t need specific RV experience, but you do need to be handy, responsible, and professional. Both our Marine and RV Technicians must be dedicated, and have the ability to diagnose and fix problems, with a focus on quality. Competitive pay: Ranges from $17/hr. for entry level to $41/hr. for experienced candidates

Requirements
Your accountabilities include:
Provide superior customer service by reading and understanding work orders to perform required repairs
Examine and diagnose problems
Work with the Service Manager/Advisors to ensure all scheduled jobs are completed on time while maintaining productivity standards and customer satisfaction goals
Perform mechanical repair/maintenance, including disassembly, inspection, overhaul and replacement of components
Install and repair accessories such as radios, depth finders, electronics, etc.
Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
Communicate additional service requests, provide labor time estimates and monitor repair time with service advisor
Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman
Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on care and operation
Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
Attend company trainings as required
Keep current with factory technical bulletins
Communicate with all departments when more information needed or when problems arise
To be successful, you will need:
Marine Technician/Mechanic experience, preferred
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Marine Mechanic Certifications, a plus
Mercury and/or Yamaha Expertise preferred
Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues
Must have own tools appropriate to skill level
Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean, insurable, driving record
Valid State License & Clean Driving Record Required
