The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vice President Marine Engineer with experience or strong interest in forensic investigation, litigation support, risk and loss consulting, and repair and retrofit design. This is a senior, client-facing role.

In this position, you will lead complex investigations across the seaport and waterfront built environment, marine infrastructure, industrial facilities, transportation systems, and high‑tech applications. You will play a key leadership role in growing and shaping a developing marine forensics business line, leveraging the Thornton Tomasetti platform while collaborating closely with a small team.

You will be supported by a diverse, multidisciplinary team ranging from entry-level engineers to senior leadership, with the autonomy to manage projects, mentor staff, and drive client relationships.
