Job Description - Market Development Representative

Description

The Market Development Representative (MDR) plays a key role in supporting the growth of Keynetics USA by generating new business opportunities across targeted vertical markets including Banking, Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Education, and other emerging commercial segments.

This position is responsible for outbound prospecting, market outreach, lead qualification, and setting meetings for the Strategic Accounts team. The MDR will work closely with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to identify target accounts, develop outreach strategies, and help expand Keynetics’ presence in new markets.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities including phone calls, emails, social media outreach, and follow-up communication
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers within targeted vertical markets
  • Schedule meetings and introductory calls for Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts
  • Research target accounts, decision makers, and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and opportunity updates within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams on outreach campaigns and messaging
  • Support strategic market expansion initiatives across Banking, Multifamily, CRE, Health Care, and other commercial verticals
  • Develop a strong understanding of Keynetics USA solutions and market positioning
  • Meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation goals

Requirements

Requirements/Preferences

  • 1–2 years of sales, customer service, business development, or related professional experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging prospective customers
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication and follow-up skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
