About the Market

The Nashville market represents one of the strongest growth opportunities for extended -stay hospitality, driven by corporate expansion, healthcare systems, relocation demand, and ongoing development projects. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact revenue strategy and build a high -performing market sales engine.

Position Summary

The Market Director of Sales is an above -property commercial leader responsible for driving revenue performance across a portfolio of hotels within the Nashville market.

This role combines hands -on selling, strategic leadership, and team development, with a primary focus on growing market share, developing high -performing sales teams, and aligning property -level execution with ARK’s overall commercial strategy.

This is a highly visible role that partners directly with ownership, operations, and revenue management leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of market -wide sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Actively engage in proactive selling, including key account development and business generation
  • Support and guide property -level Directors of Sales across the market
  • Conduct regular property visits to ensure consistent execution and accountability

Revenue Performance & Planning

  • Partner with Revenue Management to align pricing strategies with market demand
  • Lead sales input into forecasting, budgeting, and revenue planning
  • Analyze KPIs, trends, and competitive data to adjust strategy and improve performance

Client & Owner Relations

  • Serve as a primary sales liaison to hotel ownership and stakeholders
  • Provide clear, data -driven updates on performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Participate in owner meetings and present actionable strategies

Team Development & Culture

  • Recruit, coach, and develop high -performing sales leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration
  • Support ongoing training and professional development across the sales team


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of hospitality sales leadership experience
  • Experience in multi -property or above -property sales roles preferred
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage high -performing teams
  • Strong financial, forecasting, and revenue strategy experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship -building skills
