Our client, an international industrial group, is seeking an experienced Market Unit Manager to lead the integration and development of its newly acquired Lithuanian subsidiary.
This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the post-acquisition integration of a local company, steering its commercial strategy, and driving operational excellence across the Lithuanian and Baltic markets.
The Market Unit Manager will oversee sales, operations, supply chain, and compliance while guiding the transition toward a streamlined, Group-aligned structure.
Responsibilities
Post-Acquisition Integration
Lead the integration of the newly acquired subsidiary into the Group structure;
Establish governance processes, operating routines, and integration committees;
Deploy Group standards across HR, Finance, Sales/Admin, Supply Chain, IT, and Compliance;
Manage the strategic and operational process of closing retail stores (legal, social, and redeployment plans).
Commercial Leadership & Market Development
Take over and secure key accounts, especially clients shared with other business units;
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on Push & Pull principles;
Align commercial practices with Group/EMEA guidelines;
Integrate sales teams and territories into a broader Baltic–Scandinavian scope, including Finland.
Product & Portfolio Management
Integrate and grow the apparel product line in the local market;
Lead the transition from the current footwear assortment to the Group’s product range;
Adapt product launches and assortments to the expanded regional scope.
Operations & Supply Chain
Oversee warehouse optimization and potential site consolidation;
Standardize inventory processes and enhance forecasting accuracy with the demand planner;
Elevate after-sales and returns management to Group quality standards;
Ensure compliance and operational excellence across all functions.
7+ years of experience in project management, transformation, or change leadership;
B2B experience required.
Strong commercial and operational background (field experience + process management);
Ability to lead teams without existing middle management, set clear routines, and drive adoption of standards;
Experience in international or multicultural environments;
Pragmatic, structured leadership style with a results-oriented mindset.
