We are seeking a dynamic and multi-talented individual to join our Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team as a Contract Communications Specialist with a focus on social media management, enterprise engagement (events, program communications), and brand compliance oversight. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to shaping our brand image, enhancing both internal and external events, and engaging with our online audience through various social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to promote the company's brand and products across various platforms.
- Create engaging and relevant content for social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Monitor social media channels for relevant conversations and engage with followers to build relationships and foster a sense of community.
- Publicize job opportunities at the company, as they arise.
- Analyze social media metrics and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
Program Team Engagement & Events:
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies for teams across all enterprise.
- Plan and support team and enterprise engagements, events and customer engagements.
Brand Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all communications materials, including digital and print media.
- Review and approve marketing and communications materials to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on brand compliance matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, with a focus on social media management and/or brand compliance.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, marketing and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience planning events or managing logistics.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience in digital marketing and/or brand management.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) principles.
- Creativity and a passion for developing engaging content.
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plus.
