Marketing Assistant & Content Creator

Goldfish Swim School – Milford, MA and/or Bedford, NH
This is a Regional Position and this professional with support schools in both locations from one or both locations.

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a creative, organized, and energetic Marketing Assistant & Content Creator to support marketing efforts across our Milford, Massachusetts, and Bedford, New Hampshire, locations.

This role is ideal for someone who brings fresh ideas, understands how to create engaging content, and enjoys connecting with families through social media and community marketing. The successful candidate will have the creativity to develop compelling campaigns while also being comfortable working within established franchise brand standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative marketing initiatives to increase awareness, engagement, and lead generation.


• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.


• Capture and edit photos and videos featuring swim lessons, team members, families, events, and community activities.


• Build and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.


• Create graphics, flyers, promotional materials, and digital content using Design Huddle.


• Support campaigns designed to generate leads, tours, trial lessons, and new enrollments.


• Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.


• Assist with email marketing, promotions, community outreach, and local events.


• Collaborate with the leadership teams at both locations to identify marketing opportunities.


• Track basic marketing performance metrics and recommend improvements.


• Ensure all marketing and content follow Goldfish Swim School franchise branding, messaging, and approval requirements.


• Help maintain a consistent, positive, and family-friendly brand presence across both locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• College degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, or a related field preferred-or currently pursuing a degree.


• Experience creating content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.


• Comfortable using Design Huddle and other basic content-creation tools.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Creative mindset with the ability to develop fresh, engaging ideas.


• Understanding of marketing concepts, particularly lead generation and audience engagement.


• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.


• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with teams at two locations.


• Ability to follow brand standards and franchise requirements while still bringing creativity to marketing efforts.


• Experience with photography, video editing, email marketing, or paid social advertising is a plus.


• Experience in a family-focused, hospitality, education, fitness, or service-based environment is also a plus.

You are comfortable being hands-on, from brainstorming campaign ideas and filming short-form videos to designing graphics and reviewing engagement results. You can think creatively, stay organized, and balance innovation with the consistency required of a franchise brand.
