Great opportunity for experience and growth in an energetic, bright and positive environment!Our leading Real Estate Client is hiring a Marketing Associate to support their Airport Division at LAX.In the role, you will be supporting the marketing team performing a variety of administrative marketing duties and providing invaluable tactical and daily support. Successful candidates will have strong communication and organization skills to coordinate a variety of marketing tasks including execution of marketing programs, campaigns and measurement ensuring business needs and KPIs are met. This role also supports the team by coordinating with key tenants and stakeholders to develop and implement marketing initiatives.
Success in this role includes a self-starter mentality, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills, as well as provides a high standard of client, retailer and employee relations.We are looking for candidates with great teamwork and collaboration skills, who are excited by the opportunity to be part of a team that is building and shaping customer experience and innovation in airport environments.
Daily Duties:
Marketing:
In partnership with the Manager, Marketing, assist with the coordination of marketing initiatives and manages execution of in-terminal programs to drive retailer sales performance.
Partners with retailers and stakeholders to gather and provide locally relevant content, retailer sales/deals, seasonal sales promotions, digital sales promotions, and key airport information for integration into marketing calendar and campaigns.
Prepares marketing presentations, recap reports and support documents for clients and stakeholders.
Monitor performance of marketing campaigns, social posts, and digital promotions and report updates to marketing manager.
Maintain updates to marketing project tracker and ensure all tasks are tracking timely.
Coordinate with digital team on seasonal website updates and enhancements.
Assist with locally relevant employee programs (i.e., employee menus, text mobile club, sales driving incentive programs, job fairs, etc.).
Provide excellent customer service to customers/associates when issues and questions come up, becoming a regular resource and support to team members.
Coordinates logistics and supports events, photos shoots, social media reels, community programs and digital mobile order program.
Administration:
Manages marketing vendor/contract set up and payments.
Responsible for setting up purchase orders and accurate GL account coding, review, and approval of invoices in the accounts payable system.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, events, and other similar activities as required, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual, printing reports & other item and other logistics.
Organizes and maintains a digital library of content including digital menus, product and store photos, operational information, and regularly ensure content maintained and updated across all customer-facing touchpoints.
Handle confidential information with discretion and assist with other duties as assigned.
Coordinate retail partner communications and meetings to provide marketing updates, introduce new marketing programs and opportunities, etc.
Manages graphic development production schedule, creative reviews/approvals and manages printer production/installation of materials in-terminal.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years marketing and/or related experience required
Strong organizational ability and can effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Current on emerging trends, best practices, and Los Angeles city culture.
Excellent people skills along with problem solving and time management ability
Must be proficient on Microsoft Office platform, Canva, and Adobe Suite
Ability to obtain airport security badge for in-terminal access
Ability to walk terminal and support lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Must be flexible and able to occasionally travel and work at events which may include nights, weekends and holidays
