Marketing Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Associate to join our team. This individual will play a key role in marketing the United Pickleball Association, with a strong focus on social media, email marketing, and communication strategies. Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management:
Develop, write, and manage engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Create graphics, videos, and other multimedia content to support marketing campaigns.
Ensure all content aligns with the UPA brand and messaging guidelines.
Social Media Management:

Manage and grow UPA's social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Schedule and publish posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.
Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
Email Marketing:

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote events, programs, and news.
Maintain and segment email lists to ensure targeted and effective communication.
Track and report on email campaign performance, making recommendations for improvements.
Event Promotion:

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans for UPA events, including tournaments, clinics, and special events.
Create promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and advertisements.
Collaborate with event organizers to ensure cohesive and effective event promotion.
Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide insights and recommendations based on data.
Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to support overall marketing efforts.
Assist in managing relationships with sponsors, partners, and vendors.
Provide administrative support as needed, including maintaining marketing calendars and organizing promotional materials.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and strategies.
Experience with email marketing tools and analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in-person and collaborate effectively with a team.
Willingness to take on challenging projects and demonstrate a proactive, go-getter attitude.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for sports and interest in pickleball is a plus
