Marketing Consultant

Our client, a membership association in the DC area is seeking a skilled

Marketing Consultant

to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan. The primary objective of this role is to increase awareness of the association among current and retired federal employees, as well as to expand membership within these constituencies. The

Marketing Consultant

will work closely with the marketing team, vendors, and key stakeholders to achieve these goals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, their preferences, and communication channels.
Analyze the current perception and awareness of association among target audience
Identify key competitors and potential partners, along with their marketing strategies.
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase awareness of association among the target audience.
Define clear objectives, key messages, and positioning for the marketing campaign.
Identify potential platforms and channels to effectively reach the target audience.
Develop compelling marketing materials, including digital advertisements, social media content, email campaigns, and print collateral.
Provide guidance on implementing the marketing plan across selected platforms and channels.
Monitor and optimize campaign performance using relevant analytics tools.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the marketing campaign.
Provide regular reports on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, preferably targeting federal employees or similar audiences.
Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in using analytics tools and marketing software.
Familiarity with the federal employee community and their preferences is a plus.
