Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) to build and maintain a strong social media presence to targeted end users
• Monitor the company’s brand via online channels
• Build brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers
• Respond appropriately and timely to comments on accounts
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and contests (following all applicable rules and regulations)
• Analyze data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved set objectives and report to Marketing Director
• Develops and directs events and external skin screening/health fair activities consistent with marketing objectives.
• Works with the Office Administrator at the local level to represent the practice to the community at large, business groups, and civic organizations, in order to maintain a prime position as health benefactor, and authoritative source of skin health information and education.
• Makes recommendation to Director of Marketing and Physician Liaison with regard to community involvement, helping to ensure best representation of the practice in the community.
• Conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to help marketing staff make decisions about event possibilities.
• Coordinate on-site arrangements for all community events: Assist with negotiations for sponsorships, arrange vendor space, order marketing supplies and ensure appropriate décor
• Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters
• Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as necessary
• Prepare details for staffing, marketing materials, spa packages, registration lists, etc.
• Assist with preparing budgets and provide periodic progress reports to Marketing Director for each event project
• Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting
• Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• 25-50% travel required
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, or related program of study from a college or university is required.
• Proven work experience as a Social media and/or Event manager is required.
• Possesses knowledge of all aspects of promotional function including advertising strategy; target analysis; creative production for print; broadcast and digital media; ad media planning and negotiated placement; use of social and online media; public relations; copywriting and writing for news; event planning and production; and budget management.
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
