Marketing Coordinator

SWA/Balsley is seeking a full-time marketing coordinator for our New York studio of landscape architecture, planning, and urban design. Support a team of talented place-makers in producing high-quality proposals, statements of qualifications, and presentations, as well as identifying leads.

You will work directly with studio principals, project managers, technical staff, office manager, and the firmwide marketing team. Daily activities include reviewing lead opportunities; compiling and formatting proposal and credential material; and managing data for general marketing, RFQs and RFPs, awards, and the studio's online presence. The position requires an energetic self-starter who is detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative problem-solver. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum three years of marketing experience in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design and/or other AEC fields, with a focus on the preparation of responses to RFPs and RFQs, marketing graphics, and tear sheets.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related combination of education and experience in the landscape architecture, architecture, and urban design fields.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but function as part of an integrated team.
• Ability to produce high-quality documents under RFP and awards submission deadline pressure.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly extensive experience with InDesign.
