The Mesa Marketing Team is looking for a detailed-oriented, proactive, and energetic team-focused individual for our high-functioning department to assist in our corporate events, conferences, and daily marketing activities. Ideal candidate will have experience in professional services or engineering environment, marketing events planning, conference planning, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This position shall:
Identify and manage promotional items inventory
Execute registration for conferences/events
Assist with conference sponsorship execution
Manage library of conference material, equipment, and supplies
Maintain conference and corporate event calendar
Execute conference and client events preparation and logistics including, but not limited to, hotel reservations, packing, ordering supplies, and shipping all necessary materials/equipment
Maintain client and contact information and maintain of conference and corporate events data in CRM
Performance Reporting
Coordination of industry and corporate events
Complete conference wrap-up by receiving and unpacking all returned conference materials/equipment, as well as finalizing associated expense reports
Travel and assist the Marketing Manager with projects/events/conferences when necessary
Responsibility will increase as experience and knowledge of marketing department fundamentals grow
Give input to market analysis (ROI) from conference feedback

Research industry best practices
The position will also assist the Digital Asset Specialist in designing, monitoring, and updating Mesa’s digital assets, which associates will utilize both internally and externally.
This position will assist in maintaining the integrity and standardization of company branding, which requires creativity and an eye for detail, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This position will serve as back-up to the Digit Asset Specialist.
Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop a plus), strong writing and proofreading skills, oral presentations, strong organizational and time management, high attention to detail. Collaborative mindset and ability to work with marketing and technical professionals. Familiarity with CRM systems and email platforms. Photography a plus
This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with the public.
Location Requirements:
The selected candidate must report to the Knoxville, TN, office on a hybrid in-office/remote work arrangement.
