Marketing Coordinator

D & R is a locally owned company, in business since 1990, located in Vestal, NY. We support commercial and defense firms in the development of their products. Those products are as diverse as subway cars, locomotives, military ships, trucks, jets, engine/generator sets, electronic equipment and much more. Our current work structure is a hybrid arrangement of work from home with occasional office visits. In addition, flexible work schedules provide our employees the opportunity to tailor their work schedule. Furthermore, we offer an excellent benefits package for our regular full-time employees.

Job Description

Duties may include any of the following aspects of marketing;

• Working with management to develop marketing campaigns (targeted emails, website and LinkedIn updates).


• Develop marketing content for the above outlets, and utilizing software tools and programs to distribute.


• Conduct analysis on results and associated data (analytics) on marketing activity.

• Participation in project, department and/or customer program meetings and reviews to ensure an understanding of company activity, to assist with areas to emphasize in our marketing efforts.


• Working remotely and in office; both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Reliable individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.


• Superior communication skills, written and verbal.


• Organized and efficient with data, assigned tasks and schedule.


• Skilled with social media tools and programs


• Skilled with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Access.


• Knowledge of Website, website analytics and/or CRM software a plus


• Willingness to travel as needed a must.


• Availability of secure and reliable home internet connection for work is a must.
