We are a growing company seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Coordinator to join our in-house marketing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who is passionate about social media, content creation, brand presentation, and visual storytelling.
Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing initiatives across The Macallan Group's portfolio of companies, with a strong emphasis on social media, digital content, brand consistency, and light graphic design. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can balance creative thinking with strong attention to detail and organization, manage multiple priorities, and confidently move projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
Develop, coordinate, and maintain social media content across all company brands, including content planning, calendar management, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
Create and curate engaging content that reflects each brand's voice, visual identity, projects, people, and company culture.
Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging content formats, and recommend opportunities to increase engagement and brand awareness.
Coordinate photography, video, graphics, and other assets needed for social media and digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor social media performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reporting and recommendations for improvement.
Marketing & Communications
Assist with corporate marketing communications and materials, including brochures, presentations, flyers, signage, event invitations, promotional items, qualification packages, email campaigns, and other collateral.
Support the creation and execution of email marketing and company news across all brands while maintaining consistency with established brand guidelines.
Assist with website updates and ongoing content maintenance for all company websites.
Research and curate information, photography, illustrations, and other creative assets for projects and marketing initiatives.
Write and proofread marketing content as needed, ensuring accuracy, proper grammar, consistent style, and alignment with brand messaging.
Graphic Design & Creative Support
Create and update marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on light graphic design.
Uphold visual integrity and brand identity standards across all marketing and communications materials.
Assist with photo editing, image selection, file preparation, and organization of photography and graphic assets.
Assist scheduling and/or taking personnel headshot photography and project photography as needed.
Maintain an organized digital archive of photography, graphics, design files, and completed marketing projects.
Events & Operations
Assist with planning and executing company events, including invitations, signage, promotional materials, communications, and event-day support.
Maintain marketing databases and project information in Smartsheet.
Maintain merchandise and promotional inventory.
Research current marketing technology, production resources, printing methods, and other tools that can improve marketing efficiency and quality.
Support special projects and other marketing functions as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant marketing, communications, social media, or creative experience.
Demonstrated experience managing social media content, including planning, scheduling, publishing, and engagement.
Basic to intermediate graphic design experience; a design portfolio is required.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
Strong visual sense and attention to detail, with an understanding of brand consistency and visual storytelling.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
Self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and also collaborate effectively with a team.
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with macOS.
Experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms is a plus.
Experience in the construction, real estate, architecture, or design industries is a plus.
