Marketing Coordinator - Hiring Now

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing initiatives and programs. The Marketing Coordinator assists with executing marketing campaigns that include digital, print, radio, and broadcast content which promotes Company stage productions and Joffrey Academy programs, supporting merchandise sales, maintaining marketing archives, facilitating program book materials for performance tours, and managing and processing all marketing invoices. This individual works collaboratively with and in support of the Marketing team to promote all Joffrey initiatives within the Company, Academy, and Community Engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

• Assist with development of marketing and advertising campaigns for the Company and Academy.

• Organize and execute marketing promotions and partnerships.

• Maintain promotional material inventory and institutional stationery.

• Assist with collecting materials related to touring performances.

• Manage distribution of marketing collateral.

• Support tasks related to photoshoots, photo approval process, and filing system.

• Process and submit marketing invoices.

• Assist with Joffrey and Advancement Team events.

• Assist with planning and executing the promotional and advertising campaigns for Joffrey Merchandise.

• Assist with a wide array of day-to-day operations and marketing duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate consistent involvement and a continuous dedication to expanding inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility at the Joffrey.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field plus 1-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of skills and experience. Should be driven, curious, and self-motivated. Proven ability to be analytical and detail oriented. Must be a strong writer and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Understanding of digital media platforms and highly computer literate. Deep commitment towards inclusion, diversity, equity, and access is required.

WORK SCHEDULE: Weekly hours will generally be within the range of 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with additional evening and weekend hours as needed for performances, special events, and to meet deadlines.

APPLICABLE PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: General mobility in office areas. Ability to operate data processing and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
