ROLE SUMMARY: Fully support B&I’s Strategic Marketing Plan initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of external and internal marketing programs such as Trello, Open Asset, email, events, social media, digital and print advertising, and community engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:  

• Create, proofread, and edit marketing copy for print, digital, and internal channels.
• Develop and maintain content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Viva Engage.
• Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support recruitment or business goals
• Coordinate community, non-profit, and corporate events, including scheduling, registrations, and collateral distribution.
• Manage marketing project timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, and digital assets.
• Submit and track website updates, coordinating with the Director of Marketing and external vendors.
• Visit jobsites to capture photos and video as needed or assist other team members while at job sites or events.
• Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors, business partners, and industry organizations.
• Obtain, edit, and organize photo and video assets, maintaining the digital asset management platform known as Open Asset.
• Travel and after-hours/weekend event attendance is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

• AA degree or greater in business/communications/marketing/graphic design
• Microsoft 365 proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Adobe Creative Suite experience required. 
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Design & Content Creation:

• Online design tools (for quick graphics)
• Photo and video asset management platforms
• Social media management tools (native platform tools for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Viva Engage)
• Email marketing platforms (Constant Contact, or Viva Engage, Google)

Project Management & Collaboration:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Microsoft Teams
• Project management tools i.e., Trello

Website & Analytics:

• Basic analytics tools (Google Analytics or platform-specific social media insights)
• File & Asset Management:
• Digital shared drives (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum requirements for the role are specified and are necessary to succeed in the role’s application of tasks 

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
