Marketing Intern

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Job Purpose

As a Weiss Technik North America intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing. In this role you will support the marketing team in executing marketing and communication initiatives to promote our brand and products/services. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in marketing, digital media, and content creation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and contribute to marketing strategy discussions
• Evaluate website content, identify areas for improvement and perform website edits.
• Assist with SEO efforts for company websites
• Research social media across the industry and provide areas for improvement
• Review marketing collateral and identify updates
• Perform customer surveys and assist in survey development
• Assist in creating content for social media platforms, including writing posts, working with the design team to create graphics, and scheduling posts
• Provide assistance with the scheduling and organizing of events and drafting communications materials
• Perform other duties as assigned to support our marketing operations, including submitting and tracking projects and coordinating meetings

Qualifications

• Currently in progress of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• High School diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years work experience
• Able to read, understand and perform assignments within guidelines
• Strong ability to communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts
