We're seeking a Marketing Lead to join Valinor. This person will lead all marketing efforts and ensure the high quality and far reach of our brand.
What you will do
- Develop marketing strategies to increase the awareness of Valinor’s brand and the brands of our product companies
- Cultivate and own the unique brand system between the Valinor hub and our products, while planning for the inclusion and integration of future product companies
- Create, curate, and manage our social media, blog, and website content, ensuring Valinor’s virtual presence is consistent with our brand
- Work with designers (some of whom you may help source as part-time contractors) to develop brand assets for various announcements, updates, or features
- Work cross-functionally with the growth and product companies to help develop various capture materials when needed
- Own the public launches of our product companies, crafting the timeline, channels, and assets required to ensure their success
- Employees will have access to information, materials, and technologies subject to U.S. export controls, i.e., EAR and/or ITAR, and must be U.S. Persons, as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62, based in the United States.
Who we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in marketing
- Deep network of part-time brand designers that you can pull in for various efforts (bonus points for a product design network too)
- Portfolio of past marketing campaigns, websites, brand assets, or product launches you can show us that highlight your attention to detail, flair for design, and overall thoughtfulness
- A strong connection to our underlying mission
- Experience working with highly technical products across hardware and software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
