Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Lead – Core Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Presence

  • Own and execute consistent weekly social media content across all restaurant platforms
  • Plan, create, post, and engage with content that reflects the Chick-fil-A brand and local community
  • Use social media to highlight food, team members, events, promotions, and moments of care

Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan, promote, and oversee monthly events that drive traffic, build community, and enhance brand connection
  • Coordinate logistics including promotion, staffing, Cow appearances, and post-event recap
  • Partner with local schools, organizations, and community groups as appropriate

Sales Channel Seeding & Growth

  • Develop and execute seeding strategies across all sales channels (drive-thru, dine-in, mobile, delivery, catering)
  • Support Limited Time Offerings, seasonal promotions, and traffic-driving initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership and operations to ensure seeding efforts are well-timed and well-executed

Internal Team Celebrations & Culture

  • Oversee internal team celebrations including recognition moments, holidays, milestones, and wins
  • Create meaningful, fun, and on-brand experiences that reinforce team culture and appreciation

In-Restaurant Marketing & Signage

  • Own the marquee, community boards, and in-restaurant marketing displays
  • Ensure messaging is current, accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards
  • Refresh content regularly to support events, promotions, and storytelling

Marketing Materials & Publication

  • Oversee the creation, approval, and publication of marketing materials
  • Ensure all materials meet Chick-fil-A brand guidelines before use
  • Manage timelines so materials are ready ahead of events and promotions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Leadership, Operations, Catering, Training, Facilities, and Social Media support
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for marketing efforts
  • Communicate clearly to ensure alignment and smooth execution

Operational Support & Guest Experience

Line Work & Restaurant Operations

  • Spend 20–30 hours per week working on the floor (front counter, drive-thru, expo, or other operational positions as needed)
  • Stay actively connected to guests, team members, and day-to-day operations to ensure marketing efforts are relevant and effective
  • Model Chick-fil-A standards of hospitality, urgency, and professionalism during all shifts

Guest Recovery & Care

  • Support guest recovery efforts by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and creating “wow” moments
  • Partner with leadership to follow up on guest feedback, complaints, and opportunities for care
  • Help turn service recoveries into positive brand experiences and long-term guest loyalty

Guest Retention, Sampling & Engagement

  • Support guest retention through storytelling, follow-up, promotions, and moments of care
  • Plan and execute sampling initiatives to introduce products and support LTOs
  • Coordinate staffing, timing, and messaging with operations

Marketing Meetings & Planning

  • Actively participate in monthly marketing meetings
  • Bring ideas, insights, performance updates, and upcoming plans
  • Align priorities with business and community goals

Organization, Execution & Follow-Through

  • Manage timelines and details from idea to execution
  • Ensure events, promotions, and communications are completed with excellence
  • Maintain organized calendars, files, and marketing assets
