Marketing Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develops and expands the company’s local Latino market.  

• Identify and engage potential clients in alignment with the company's sales goals and strategies, with a pronounced emphasis on the Latino markets.  

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's seafood product line to represent it to prospective clients confidently.  

• Lead sourcing initiatives for assigned categories, including supplier selection, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract negotiation  

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company goals  

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering initiatives  

• Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to support purchasing decisions 

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets.  

• Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs and drive corrective actions when needed.  

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs). 

• Mitigate supply risks and develop contingency sourcing plans. 

• Oversee purchase order processes and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery  

• Resolve complex supply, pricing, or quality issues  

• Improve procurement processes, systems, and workflows 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. 

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: 

• A high school diploma or above is . 

• At least 10 + years of Seafood purchasing/procurement experience
