JOB PURPOSE
As the Marketing Manager for ACA, you will develop, produce and implement integrated marketing plans and campaigns to support all ACA programs, products and services (e.g., membership, events, advocacy, publications, webinars). You will be essential in ensuring the most relevant content is delivered to the right audience, at the right time and supporting our mission of advancing the counseling profession, mental health and well-being through education, advocacy, community, inclusion and research.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager serves as lead in the development of effective and innovative marketing campaigns, while working on a highly collaborative team and interacting regularly with staff across the organization. This individual will join a team of brand stewards, ensuring that all ACA communications and marketing materials are brand compliant. They will also serve as the primary project manager of marketing campaigns, ensuring that all assets and collateral, including messaging, graphics, tactical outlines, etc. are delivered accurately and on time. The Marketing Manager will be a key team member in enhancing ACA’s digital marketing strategy and program to continue to meet our goals and bring our mission to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
#LI-Hybrid Location: Candidates based in the Washington, D.C.-metro area (DC, VA, MD) preferred; however, we welcome applications from qualified candidates regardless of location. This role usually requires in-person presence at the office, approximately four times per year (to include ACA annual conferences).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position is in an office environment, requires sitting and some standing, and has a limited 15–20 pounds lifting requirement. It requires the ability to operate computer equipment, telephone, and general office equipment to generate and transmit communications.
