We are looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated, omnichannel marketing campaigns for Gryphon House, our publishing division. The Role
In this dynamic and data-driven position, you will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to increase the visibility and sales of our early childhood education resources, fostering the success of our authors and the growth of our publishing division. Responsibilities
Develop and implement creative, integrated, and omnichannel marketing campaigns for Gryphon House published titles, ensuring consistency with brand values and strategic goals.
Lead the development of compelling and strategically-targeted book metadata, optimizing book listings for maximum visibility in online marketplaces and e-reader ecosystems.
Spearhead book publicity efforts, including securing author interviews, media placements, and book reviews.
Leverage social media platforms to build brand awareness, engage educators and parents, and promote author expertise.
Develop and manage content marketing initiatives, including blog posts, articles, and email campaigns, aligned with audience needs and strategic objectives.
Harness the power of existing author networks and implement targeted advertising campaigns to reach both trade and consumer audiences.
Collaborate with authors, editors, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless marketing execution.
Analyze marketing data and campaign performance to refine strategies and optimize results.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in marketing, content creation, and social media engagement within the early childhood education space.
Educational background
A degree in Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field. Commensurate experience will be considered.
Skills and required knowledge
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including content marketing, social media, email, book publicity, and strategic marketing campaign development.
Demonstrated expertise (7-10 years) in book marketing, content creation, and audience engagement within publishing, early childhood education or a similar niche.
Solid understanding of SEO principles, and experience optimizing book listings for online discoverability.
Experience with HubSpot
A passion for mar tech and continuously learning the latest platforms and tools
Proven success in managing people and budgets and achieving marketing goals.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to promoting the work of experts in the field.
