Job Description - Marketing Manager, Technology

The Marketing Manager, Technology will report to the Director of Integrated Marketing and should possess a deep understanding of both marketing and technology. This role will be responsible for developing a high-level view of our marketing operations and procedures and implementing new processes and operational initiatives to improve efficiency through the marketing technology stack, including the marketing automation platform. You will lead the implementation, management, analysis, and optimization of technologies that support growth objectives of the client. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, project management and critical-thinking skills, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Design, document and conduct training on the use of marketing technology tools, including CRM and marketing automation
Maintain and optimize sales & marketing platforms (i.e. websites, landing pages), automated processes in marketing systems (i.e. lead routing), and integrations (i.e. connections between platforms)
Implement, manage and optimize programs, emails, landing pages and other assets in Marketo, the marketing automation platform
Support, maintain and optimize the CRM system, including customization and user management, working with other technical teams as needed
Manages and maintains integrations & lead routing in the CRM and marketing automation platforms, optimizing the automation and processes for the marketing and sales team
Identify opportunities to improve and simplify toolsets and activate technology solutions at scale
Work with the Marketing Analyst and team to monitor and report on KPIs with a focus ensuring proper tracking for conversion and revenue attribution
Partner with the team to ensure data integrity across platforms, implement best practices for proper tracking of campaigns, including quality control
Oversee compliance to relevant laws and regulations regarding customer data security & privacy
Review and stay up to date on all new tools and technologies in this space. Recommend adjustments to new technologies and ensure the broader team is trained.
Be a champion for marketing and ensure the customers' voice is at the center of all decision making.
Champion innovation to evaluate new digital approaches and technologies.
Knowledgeable in a variety of digital services, Google ads, digital display ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing operations, or similar
Must have strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Marketing Automation platforms like Marketo, Pardot or similar.
Must have strong working knowledge of customer relationship management systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce
Well-versed in the latest technology & trends in the marketing industry and marketing operations including: UTMs, Google Tag Manager, first and third-party cookies, etc.
Deep understanding of marketing channels including, paid and organic and a good understanding of the principles of digital marketing
Proven ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to read and edit basic HTML/CSS
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be available to be onsite at least three days a week.
A creative mindset, contributing new ideas that overcome challenges

Bonus Skills:
Experience with ABM platforms like Terminus, 6Sense, or similar
Experience setting up Marketo from a fresh implementation
