Marketing Merchandiser

Job Description: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Merchandiser will be responsible for maintaining and creating planograms, maintaining inventory of shelving materials needed in the stores, and helping with remodel and new store set ups. They will be responsible for various marketing initiatives. By executing these core roles, the Marketing Merchandiser will make ABC a great place to work and surprise our customers with exceptional service.

Core Roles

Department:

• Assists with budgeting, planning, and the coordinating of new store set ups and remodels.
• Assists with retail product selection.
• Assists with donation solicitations and distribution of donated goods.
• Oversees creating and updating planograms. 
• Oversees customer comment cards and reporting.
• Oversees distribution of marketing materials.
• Ensures all promotional materials and selling aids are consistent with company image.
• Ensures all stores keep a fresh and marketable appearance.
• Engages in product research and brings new products to product committee for consideration.
• Engages in marketing research, planning, results, and reporting. 

Team:

• Fully supports store group in their marketing and merchandising efforts. 
• Responds to and communicates effectively with store group and outside departments. 
• Contributes to making ABC a “Great Place to Work”.
• Participates in weekly marketing meetings and submits weekly work plan.
• Recognizes other employees for their contributions.
• Willingness to help others.
• Follows dress code.
• Attends all ABC Auto Parts company functions and meetings that are applicable to position.
