Job Description - Marketing Project Manager

Come join one of America’s fastest-growing insurance companies. Since 1848, National Life Group has aimed to keep our promises, providing families with stability in good times and in bad. Throughout that history, we have provided peace of mind to those families as they plan their futures.

Our mission extends beyond the insurance and annuities policies that we offer. We strive to make the world a better place through our grants from our charitable foundation, paid volunteer time for our employees, environmentally sustainable and healthy workplaces, and events that promote the work of nonprofits in our own backyard.

We foster a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and encourage our associates to live our values: Do good. Be good. Make good.

Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Role Summary

National Life Group is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to help build a modern marketing infrastructure with clear planning, execution, and reporting processes. This is a foundational, operationally focused role within Marketing & Brand, supporting the team's core processes, planning cycles, and project prioritization to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

Partnering across marketing functions, the Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of marketing initiatives from intake and planning through implementation and release while managing resources and keeping work on track.

  • Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs, set deadlines, and communicate status to stakeholders.

  • Develop estimates for project deliverables and required resources based on established timelines.

  • Build and maintain a clear dashboard of upcoming, in-flight, and on-deck projects, including actual and planned resource allocations.

  • Track project timelines from onset through final delivery and gather feedback from project owners to inform future programs and process refinements.

  • Continually learn the needs of the business to deepen understanding of overall objectives.

  • Support stakeholders with Workfront processes, and review or author creative briefs to ensure shared understanding of objectives and deliverables.

  • Proactively manage multiple projects in close partnership with the creative services traffic manager, identifying risks and ensuring timely completion.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.

  • Manage deadlines and keep teams accountable to timelines.

  • Provide consistent, timely feedback, project updates, and guidance to team members.

  • Host weekly project meetings with team members and managers.

Minimum Qualifications
