Summary 

As the Marketing Specialist at Florida Paints, you will play an intricate role in the marketing team and drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility, customer acquisition, and retention. The ideal candidate can translate data and research into actionable marketing plans that inform branding and campaign development. The specialist should be adept at working independently on heavy research, consulting with consumers, and collaborating with cross-functional team members to gather powerfully informative insights. A hands-on approach and strong team-building skills will be an important part of your success in this role. 

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform research, analysis, and testing with various tools to gain insights and shape marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize automation and lead-nurturing process through email, content, events, and social channels.
• Assist in the execution of marketing plans to reach audiences through targeted channels.
• Create  and distribute monthly reports on critical metrics for lead generation, content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs
• Assist marketing manager in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new product launches, social media, upselling,      cross-selling, and sales enablement.
• Assist with all internal and external marketing campaigns, producing content for projects and initiatives to enhance lead generation.
• Analyze existing marketing collateral with a critical eye and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
• Work with the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and retain current clients. 
• Management of the website and social platforms. 
• Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards. 
• Generate valuable content for the company's online platforms, overseeing editorial design and publication organization.
• Planned and executed corporate promotion campaigns, launched new product lines, etc.
• Work closely with store managers and the sales team to develop successful retail merchandising strategies. 
• Serve as the organization's liaison to external stakeholders, fostering strategic partnerships and enhancing brand visibility.
• Develop and manage advertising and PR budgets.
• Represent Florida Paints at industry and public-facing events. 

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing, advertising, and running a marketing campaign.

· Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

· High competence in project and stakeholder management.

· Ability to speak and present confidently to diverse audiences.

· Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.

· Strong organizational aptitude and effective time management skills.

· Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to Florida Paints locations and customer job sites.
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10      pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
