Marketing Specialist
Wavetronix, the global leader in radar-based vehicle detection technologies, is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist. He or she will be an active member of our marketing team, responsible for generating leads through a variety of marketing activities and programs. The right individual for this role will be able to interact with customers and employees in a proactive way, follow up with leads, schedule marketing events and present sales and marketing materials. The marketing coordinator will focus on lead generation, customer visits, content creation, product presentations and email marketing. He or she will travel to tradeshows and mobile events on a regular basis.

A successful Marketing Coordinator will accomplish the following:
First 30 days
· Learn how to segment and target our customers within the traffic industry.
· Learn product solutions and position them based on customer segment.
· Demonstrate ability to communicate internally about product features, benefits and applications.
· Become versed in CRM and Click Dimensions for lead management and email campaigns.
· Assist Wavetronix Marketing Group with virtual labs, trainings and Mobile Traffic Lab events as they arise.
· Learn email marketing practices and train on Click Dimensions.
· Build trust with territory sales team by attending meetings and learning customer needs.
· Enthusiastically participate in personal development training.
6 months
· Demonstrate ability to communicate with customers about product features, benefits and applications as part of a team.
· Demonstrate ability to understand and synthesize customer needs to bring back to marketing, sales teams and product owners.
· Travel and present with Marketing members to Mobile Traffic Lab events.
· Learn and practice towing the marketing trailer.
· Develop and demonstrate presentation skills about product solutions.
· Plan and automate email campaigns for lead generation
· Design presentation slides as needed.
· Help develop new ideas for email campaigns.
· Write creative briefs for new marketing content.
· Participate and contribute to team growth and cohesion.
· Demonstrate expertise with Dynamics 365 by showing lead generation through marketing activities.
Year 1
· Demonstrate ability to communicate with customers about product features, benefits and applications.
· Schedule and execute Mobile and Digital Traffic Labs unaccompanied.
· Become an integral part of direct development teams by attending tactical meetings, generating leads and fielding marketing content requests.
· Develop new marketing initiatives to help educate customers and generate brand awareness.
· Develop new marketing programs that increases lead generation results.

KEYS TO HIRING:
A person in this position should be an excellent communicator who seeks for understanding. They will need to be organized and able to work effectively on multiple teams. Additionally, the candidate needs to be a self-starter and be able to manage time well between different roles. Travel 12-18 weeks a year is expected.
